We are so happy you have decided to explore membership opportunities with us, and look forward to spending some time with you soon. In the meantime, we hope this gives you some insight into who we are and why so many members call Glen Echo home.

Looking back to the start of golf in St. Louis, not many can say they were there from the beginning. We are one of the proud few. Opening in 1901, Glen Echo Country Club is the oldest golf club west of the Mississippi and has been in continuous operation at the same location. However, it was not until 1904 that Glen Echo would achieve something no other country club in the US had before, nor has done since—host Olympic Golf Games. Under the leadership of the Club’s first president, Col. George S. McGrew, the club would rise into the forefront of the Golf World during those Third Olympic Games.

While the Club is rooted in rich history that we treasure, we are looking towards the future and sharing our love for the game.

Over the years we have enjoyed being a part of the transition of the game from that of a privileged, elite class to a mainstream sport that all may take part in. We enjoy providing a comfortable, enjoyable atmosphere for a diverse membership to enjoy pristine golf facilities, dynamic tennis programming, a vibrant pool setting, topped off with a variety of dining options to meet each and every need. And if that was not enough, within our expansive clubhouse, members are able to host events in a room suited to their particular needs, knowing their Glen Echo Team will be on hand to take care of every detail.

Regular Membership
- Regular membership provides full access to all the Club’s facilities and amenities – clubhouse dining, our championship golf course, golf practice facilities, aquatics, tennis courts, etc. Spouses, significant others or partners and unmarried children of Regular members under the age of 24 living at home will also have full use Club’s facilities.
  
  This membership includes a Full Privileges at the Missouri Athletic Club Downtown and Dining Privileges at the Missouri Athletic Club West and the Racquet Club Ladue. Fill out the form below for more information and to schedule a tour.
Corporate Membership
- Corporate membership provides the same privileges and access to the club amenities as those received by Regular Members. The corporation assigns each membership to a designated employee to enjoy the benefits of each membership purchased. Among the benefits of corporate membership is the flexibility of the corporation to manage their membership effectively. Corporate owners may change the designated user assigned to the membership when personnel changes occur without paying new initiation fees, but a nominal transfer fee, if changes are within policies established by the Board of Directors.

Junior Membership
- Junior membership is available to applicants below age forty-two (43). This membership provides full access to all the Club’s facilities and amenities – clubhouse dining, golf, aquatics, tennis courts, etc. Spouses, significant others/partners and children of Junior Members may also use the Club’s facilities. Junior Members enjoy all these benefits and amenities at a lower dues level than Regular and Corporate members.

Social Membership
- Social members enjoy full access to the Club's tennis courts, swimming pool, dining, social related events, activities and amenities. Social members may play ONE round of golf per month with applicable greens fees. This membership category is open to applicants of all ages. Spouses, significant other/partners and unmarried children under the age of 24 of Social Members may also use the Club's facilities.

Gold Medal Membership
- Gold Medal membership recognizes Glen Echo’s role in Olympic history as being the only golf course in the United States to host competitive golf as part of the Olympic Games. This membership is available as a second club membership for golf members of other St. Louis District Clubs. Gold Medal membership provides full access to the Club's aquatics center, dining, clubhouse, and all social related events, activities and amenities; as well as 15 rounds of golf each calendar year.

Out of Town Membership
- This membership is available to non-residents of the St. Louis area (primary residence must be at least 125 miles from GECC) only. Out of Town membership provides full access to the Club's aquatics center, dining, clubhouse, and all social related events, activities and amenities; as well as 15 rounds of golf each calendar year.
