Meet the Pros

	Michael Herbig Head Golf Professional Michael has previously worked at The Lodge of Four Seasons in the Lake of the Ozarks and Southern Hills in Tulsa, OK. Michael broke into the golf industry as a caddie at the young age of 12. He attended the University of Missouri - Columbia as an Evans Scholar and the Golf Academy of America in Orlando, FL. Michael started with us as our First Assistant in April of 2016 and became our Head Golf Professional in April of 2017. Michael has earned awards in teaching, club repair, and merchandising. He also has certifications in fitting with most major brands as well as Flightscope.

	Joseph Hof Assistant Golf Professional Joe was born and raised on The Hill in south St. Louis. He attended Vianney High School maintaining low stroke average on the golf team three of four years, and currently finishing up a business management degree at UMSL. Joseph is an Apprentice in the PGA of America. He found his start at Far Oaks in 2014 and joined our Glen Echo Team in 2017.

	Clay Anderson Assistant Golf Professional Clay is originally from Lake Park, MN. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in both Golf Enterprise Management and Hotel, Restaurant, Tourism Management from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Clay is currently an Apprentice in the PGA PGM Program. He has previously worked at Austin Country Club in Southern MN as an Assistant Golf Professional, as well as Tonto Verde Golf Club in Phoenix, AZ. Clay joined Glen Echo staff in 2021.
