Director of Golf Nash Haxel, PGA
Head professional at Glen Echo since 1995, Nash has been a PGA Professional since 1990. Born in Amarillo, Texas, Nash attended Coffeyville Junior College, where he was a golf All-American in 1981. Moving to the University of Arkansas, he was a member of the golf team from 1982-84. In 1983, he competed in the U.S. Amateur at Chicago GC.
Since arriving at Glen Echo, Nash has taken an active leadership role in the Gateway Section, serving on the Board of Directors from 1992-1994, then as an officer from 2001-2004 and President in 2005 and 2006. Honored by his peers, Nash was awarded the Gateway Section Golf Professional of the Year in 2004, and the Bill Strausbaugh winner in 2005, given "for distinguished service mentoring other PGA Professionals, integrity and character reflecting positively upon the profession; and outstanding involvement in charitable and community activities.” He has continued to develop his professional skills, completing over 500 education hours under the guidance of the PGA of America.
Nash has also continued his fine play through the years. He was first alternate in 1997 for the U.S. Open at Oakmont CC and has finished among the top 10 players in the Section from 1993-2005. In addition, he has competed in five National Club Professional Championships. Married to Teri in 1985, they have two children, Katie born in 1991 and Ryan in 1993.
Golf Professional Kevin Corn, PGA

Kevin has been a part of the Glen Echo family since 2003. After graduating from Coastal Carolina University, with a degree in Marketing and Golf Management, Kevin worked at the 72-hole Wild Wing Plantation and the 54-hole Legends Group along the Grand Strand in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. After a few years, he joined the Charlotte Peninsula Club at Lake Norman. Leaving the golf shop for a time, he joined a firm that specialized in marketing custom golf hats to clubs across the country as Vice President of Marketing. He rejoined the PGA ranks two years later when he arrived at Glen Echo.
